ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team swept Saint Elizabeth University, 3-0, in a non-league match on Tuesday night.
Bard rolled 25-12, 25-10 and 25-13.
"It was nice to get another win at home in front of a good crowd," Bard coach
Lindsey Veersma said. "We saw some positive things from players off the bench, and it was great to get contributions from everybody."
Bard sophomore
Precious Star produced a career-high 11 kills and hit .471 to lead the Bard attack.
Adi David had 20 assists, five aces and seven digs. First years
Nyla Lawrence and
Ella Small had an impact, with Lawrence collecting seven kills (.385) and Small contributing six digs, five aces and two assists.
This was the first of four home matches for Bard this week. Up next is Hartwick on Friday, and then the Raptors host WPI and Ramapo for a tri-match on Saturday.
