EWING, N.J. - The Bard College men's track & field team competed at the Lions Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey, on Saturday.

The meet served as the final tune up before next week's Liberty League Championships, to be hosted by Vassar College.

CeDaniel Sumpter and Angel Ramirez both competed in the 100 and 200, while Oliver Pawelek and Nic Soucy each ran the 800. Sumpter had a PR in the 200.

"I'm very happy with today," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "We are in good position to be very competitive at the Liberty League meet."

The Liberty League Championships are set for Friday and Saturday in Poughkeepsie.
