Adkins, Child each score three times vs. #19 St. Lawrence

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to 19th-ranked St. Lawrence University, 20-8, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

Sarah Child gave Bard a 1-0 lead in the first minute and finished with three goals, and Gillian Adkins scored three times for the Raptors as well. Rachael Yoder collected nine draw controls and Madison Brown picked up four ground balls for Bard.

"I'm really proud of the team today," Bard coach Rachel Vallarelli said. "We played a complete game and worked well as a unit."

Bard next plays at RPI on Tuesday night.

"Everyone stepped up and contributed," Vallarelli added. "The defense stood tall, the goalies stepped up, the draw team also came up huge. Excited to keep forging ahead with this group. The best is yet to come."
