TROY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 18-4, in a Liberty League game on Tuesday night.
Gillian Adkins scored twice for Bard, while
Lily Clough and
Sarah Child scored single goals. Adkins caused three turnovers,
Rachael Yoder had two draw controls and two ground balls, and
Madison Brown scooped up a pair of ground balls, too.
Martha Pasatiempo made five saves.
"I'm proud of the team and the effort shown tonight," Bard coach
Rachel Vallarelli said. "The defense played tough and stood tall, and Martha came up and made some great stops. Looking forward to the rest of the season."
The Raptors travel to take on 10th-ranked Ithaca on Friday.
