"Today was a record-breaking day for the men's team," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "
Jack Keelan broke the Bard record in the 200 and 400 and
Oliver Pawelek broke the school record in the 800."
Angel Ramirez returned to the lineup and ran well, while
Nic Soucy and
Calvin Janzen-Chappell had lifetime bests in the 800.
"I could not be more proud of Jack and Oliver today," Poole-Harris said. "These young men have turned a corner with their training, and it shows. Jack is starting to build confidence. He's fast, he's intelligent, and now he's confident, and that's the final ingredient for success."
Bard will next complete at the Vassar Twilight Open on Friday.
