"This was our first meet after a long layoff after the Liberty League Indoor Championships," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "Our student-athletes left Ithaca that day hungry to establish themselves in the outdoor season. We set the tone today with solid performances from top to bottom."
Felicia Flores placed sixth in the 100, scoring points for Bard.
"We suddenly had
Felicia Flores emerge as a sprinter," Poole-Harris said. "We have thrown her into several events and she has been steadfast about trying to find a way to help the team. I think we may have found her skill set."
Hawra Moochhala, who has been battling injuries, competed in the 200 and 400 anyway.
"She ran fearless for us," Poole-Harris said.
Up next for Bard is the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University next weekend.
