WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Bard College women's basketball team opened the 2022-23 season at the University of St. Joseph Tip-Off Tournament on Friday night.
The Raptors lost to host USJ, 83-37.
Mae Redmond led Bard with 14 points, and
Thalia Grandinetti added 11 points and seven rebounds.
Maggy Peyton led the Raptors with nine rebounds, and Shirley Dong had five points and a team-high four assists in her collegiate debut.
The Raptors will play in the Consolation Game at noon on Saturday, against the loser of Friday night's game between Lehman and Wellesley.
