ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to Skidmore College, 2-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.
Skidmore entered the day in third place in the Liberty League, but Bard didn't make it easy. The Thoroughbreds scored in the seventh minute, then were held at bay for the rest of the first half in spite of a possession advantage. In the second half, Bard was able to push forward and produce some scoring chances against one of the top defenses in the league.
Kylie Quinn, Rilee Barber and
Waleska Brito forced saves before Skidmore doubled its lead in the second half.
Sam Finn finished with 10 saves.
