ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to Clarkson University, 4-1, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.
A goal early in the second half gave Clarkson a 2-0 lead, but Bard halved the deficit in the 55th minute. An aggressive play by
Emma Kuntz at midfield led to a sudden counter, and as two defenders closed on her, she flicked a short pass to
Abby Frazier, who got it back to her, and Kuntz chipped a shot over the head of the onrushing goalie to make it 2-1.
Felicia Flores finished with three shots on goal for Bard, and
Sam Finn made eight saves.
The Raptors next travel to RIT for a Liberty League game on Oct. 22.
