Natasha Cameron won the 100-breast and
Laurel Edwards nearly broke a school record in her first collegiate meet.
"We had to leave a lot of swimmers home for this meet, but those who swam, really swam well," Bard coach
John Weitz said. "Quality swims came from
Natasha Cameron, whose 100 breast win was a season best, and
Olivia Dower's 100-fly was a season best. Laurel Edward's participated in her first official meet and just missed the team record in the 50-free."
Bard competes at the Vassar Sprint Invitational next weekend.
"We were very glad to have the opportunity to race," Weitz said. "Having the last two meets canceled has put us a little behind in preparation for Liberty League Championships in February. But if today's swims are any indication, it looks like we will be ready."
