Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris was pleased with the effort.

"Today was a very promising meet," Billy Poole-Harris said. "The men of Bard posted times and performances that will surely improve throughout the indoor season.

"CeDaniel Sumpter punched in his time sheet and got to work setting personal records in the 60, 200 and long jump, setting school records along the way," he continued. "Jack Keelan will be a high flyer in the Liberty League this year. His 400 time puts him in the Top 10 in the conference."

Reed Campbell ran the 3,000, while Nic Soucy and Cole Ewalt competedin the 800.

"Our first years and first-timers got a piece of the action, posting personal bests," Poole-Harris said. "Campbell, Ewalt, Soucy and Angel Ramirez in the 400. These times are in indication that the best is yet to come."

The Raptors are scheduled to compete next at the Middlebury Invitational in two weeks.
