TROY, N.Y. - Bard College first year Peter Mahoney has been named to the Liberty League Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced Monday.

Mahoney was recently moved into Bard's center back role, and the result was back-to-back clean sheets. In a 1-0 win over SUNY Delhi, with Mahoney in charge back there, the Raptors yielded just three shots on goal and nothing of great quality. Then on Saturday, Mahoney led the defense to a 3-0 shutout of St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, and the visitors did not produce a single shot on goal or a corner kick. He also played every minute of both games.

The Raptors have won three in a row, and will go for four on Wednesday night at home against Cazenovia.
