ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team lost to 22nd-ranked RPI, 75-45, in a Liberty League game on Wednesday night.
Bard got nine points from
Lazaros Panagiotounis and six points apiece from
Kevin Le and
Greg Farrow.
"We got some great experience playing an NCAA Tournament team in RPI," Bard coach
Michael Lenahan said. "We could compete for a 12-minute stretch at the end of the first half, but we were unable to sustain it in the second half.
"The level of RPI's program is the level we want to reach," Lenahan added. "It's great to learn from them by competing against them."
Bard has one game remaining in the fall semester when it hosts Pratt on Saturday.
"We are looking forward to the chance to finish strong before finals when we play Pratt on Saturday," Lenahan said.
