ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Bard College senior
Christina Kiser scored 18 points in a Liberty League game against Ithaca on Saturday, giving her 1,098 career points, good for a third place tie in Bard's all-time record book.
Ithaca prevailed in the game, 68-35.
Kiser finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Olivia Couture and
Mae Redmond added five points apiece, and
Maggy Peyton chipped in with four points and six rebounds.
"I'm proud of the way our women battled against a deep and physical team from Ithaca," Bard coach
Casi Donelan said. "Another great night for
Christina Kiser and
Maggy Peyton."
Kiser has scored 1,098 career points in 51 games, or 21.5 points per game.
"It's exciting to see Christina's name moving up on the all-time scorers' list," Donelan said. "We are inspired by her determination and we will get her a Liberty League win before she graduates."
Up next for Bard is a Liberty League game against RPI on Wednesday at home. It'll be the Raptors' last game of the fall semester.
