ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to RPI, 61-48, in a Liberty League game on Wednesday night. It was the final game of the fall portion of the season for Bard.
Christina Kiser scored 22 points to lead Bard, and in doing so, moved into third place on Bard's all-time scoring list with 1,120 points. She is 21 points away from Bianka Bell '16, who stands at No. 2 with 1,141 points.
"Big congratulations to Christina for etching her name in the record books again," Bard coach
Casi Donelan said. "This wasn't the outcome we wanted, but we got solid contributions from
Maggy Peyton, and
Thalia Grandinetti coming off the bench."
Olivia Couture contributed 11 points and five rebounds, and Peyton added eight points, six rebounds and two blocks. Bard next play on Jan. 7.
"Time to grind out the rest of the semester," Donelan said, "and come back in 2022 ready to go."
