POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost to sixth-ranked Vassar College, 3-0, in a United Volleyball Conference match on Wednesday night.
The Brewers, who were the top-ranked team in the country a couple of weeks ago, swept Bard 25-6, 25-13 and 25-14.
Vassar hit .545 in the first set and cruised, holding Bard without a kill. The Brewers had 14 kills (.667) and three aces in the second set. The Raptors were better in the third set, but Vassar took it, 25-14.
Four players - Sebastian Dufour,
Angel Obergh,
Joshua Han and
Quincy Ross - finished with two kills apiece for Bard. Obergh added six assists and three digs.
Jake Kaplan (Leesburg, VA) led Vassar with nine kills and six aces.
