Abigail Townend swam in her final home meet on Saturday, winning twice as the Raptors lost to William Paterson University, 96-83.

She cruised to victory as Bard's only swimmer in the 1000-free, besting three swimmers from William Paterson, her nearest competitor finishing 30 seconds behind. Later, she comfortably won the 100-back. A ceremony held during the meet honored her, and included her friends and family. Townend is not only a student-athlete at Bard, but President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Other highlights for Bard included
Natasha Cameron winning the 100-breast, and placing second in the 200-free.
Una Winn placed second in both the 50-free and 100-free, and
Amanda Montgomery was second in the 200-IM, and had the second-best time in the 500-free.
The Raptors next compete at Brooklyn College on Jan. 25.
