ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team swept SUNY Delhi, 9-0 on Sunday, to match the best start in the history of the program with four straight wins.
At 4-0, the Raptors matched the start of the 2018-19 team, and the 1997 squad.
Bard cruised through the three doubles matches, winning 8-0, 8-1 and 8-3. All six singles matches were won in straight sets, with
Katie Esposito,
Nico Gusac, and newcomer
Isabella Sandora winning 6-0, 6-0 and Nos. 1, 3 and 5, respectively.
Up next for Bard are back-to-back Liberty League road matches, at Union on Friday, and at Skidmore on Saturday.
