SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team lost its season opener on Friday, 9-0, at Union College. It was also the Liberty League opener for both teams.

The Dutchmen yielded just one game in sweeping the three singles matches, then won all six singles matches in straight sets.

Bard's Immanuel Zion won three games at No. 1 singles.

Up next for the Raptors is a Liberty League match against Vassar at home on Saturday at 3.
