ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team was defeated by Regis College, 3-0 Tuesday night, as the team celebrated Senior Night for a pair of players.
Set scores for the game were 25-10, 25-12 and 25-18. Before the contest,
Jelani Bell-Isaac and
Dylan Frawley were honored, as the duo is set to graduate in May. The pair added tremendous height to the lineup this season and will be sorely missed.Â
On the night, Bell-Isaac finished with three kills and Frawley added a kill, an ace and an assist.Â
However, despite the Senior Night festivities, the Pride of Regis College (7-7) ruled the contest. They hit .549 overall, including .643 in the final set. Regis also collected 34 kills, 13 aces and 10 blocks in the win. Kostea Andreenko (Marston Mills, MA) led the team with seven kills and five blocks, while three other players finished with five or more kills in the effort.
For Bard (2-12),
Tristan Kozul finished with a team-high eight kills and
Nic Smith chipped in 12 assists.Â
Up next for the Raptors is a road United Volleyball Conference match against Stevens on March 15th. That game is set for 7 p.m. and you can follow it here.Â
