GENEVA, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to William Smith College, 74-38, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

Christina Kiser scored 30 or more points for the third straight game. She scored 38 on Tuesday against SUNY Canton, 30 on Friday night at RPI, and 30 against William Smith on Saturday. She entered the weekend as the Liberty League's leading scorer, and as the No. 4 leading scorer in the nation. She will maintain her Liberty League lead, and perhaps improve her national standing with 32-plus points per game average.
William Smith scored 28 points in the first quarter and led, 53-18, at halftime. The second half was played evenly.
The Herons got 14 points and five rebounds from senior Mia Morrison (Geneva, NY). William Smith is 15-7 overall and 11-5 in Liberty League play.
Kiser had 30 points, four rebounds and four steals.
Katie Esposito added two points, five rebounds and a block. Bard is 5-18 overall and 0-16 in the league.
Two games remain on the 2018-19 schedule for Bard, both at home. Ithaca will visit Annandale on Friday, and RIT will follow on Saturday. Follow both games live right here.
