ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Ithaca College, 73-36, in a Liberty League game on Friday night.
The Bombers (19-5 overall, 14-3 Liberty League) held Bard to two points in the first quarter and nine in the first half, taking a 34-9 lead into the break.
The second half was played more evenly as Bard fell to 5-19 overall, and 0-17 in Liberty League play.
Thirteen players scored for Ithaca, led by Meghan Pickell (West Chester, PA), who had 10 points. Grace Cannon (Bloomfield, NJ) added eight points and 10 rebounds.
Bard got 18 points and six rebounds from freshman
Christina Kiser, eight points and six rebounds from
Katie Esposito, and five points and two steals from
Caleigh DeCaprio.
