SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team suffered a narrow loss to Skidmore College, 1-0, in the final game of the 2019 season for both squads on Saturday.

Yasmine Boukari (Winchester, MA) scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 24th minute, as she got past a Bard defender and hit a hard shot that Bard goalie Abigail Stanley got a piece of, but it deflected in.

Bard's best opportunity to equalize came in the 81st minute, when senior Julia Gibson's free kick ricocheted off the crossbar.

Skidmore outshot Bard 12-6 in the game, though shots on goal were 4-3. The Thoroughbreds end the season at 7-7-2 overall, 2-7 in Liberty League play.

Stanley finished with three saves for Bard, 3-13-1, 0-9-0.
