ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Bard College men's soccer team to Rochester Institute of Technology, 6-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers (3-6-1, 1-2-0 Liberty League) scored in the fourth minute, when Nick Simone (Hilton, NY) received a through ball from Simon Garno (Hilton, NY) and beat Bard keeper Logan Leppo for a 1-0 lead.

RIT outshot Bard, 7-1, in the first half, and it was 1-0 at halftime.

The Tigers scored five times in the second half. Jared Short (Grafton, WI) scored off a free kick pass from Simone to make it 2-0 in the 47th minute. The Tigers scored three goals in a five-minute span, including two more from Simone, and Alec Jackson added a PK in the 82nd minute to close out the scoring.

Leppo made three saves before being replaced early in the second half by Adel Elkafas, who had one save.
