ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's swimming team snapped a long losing streak with a 103-71 victory over Purchase College on Friday night. It was the first dual meet victory for Bard since January of 2017.

The night got off to a good start, when the Raptors won the 200-medley relay with Abigail Townend, Amanda Montgomery, Sarah Soucek and Una Winn. Townend went on to win the 1000-free and the 100-back, and Montgomery won both the 200-free and the 100-fly. Soucek placed first in the 100-breast, and Sarah Kern took the 100-free.

Up next for Bard is the Sarah Lawrence Sprint Carnival next weekend.
