ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team lost to Ramapo College, 9-0, in a non-league match on Sunday afternoon.
The doubles matches were competitive, with Bard taking at least two games in each of the three matches, but Ramapo prevailed in all three.
On the singles side, it was a battle at No. 1 singles, as Bard's
Satchel Fisher took the first set from Ramapo senior Mike Abelev (Fair Lawn, NJ), 6-3, but Abelev took the second set, 6-4. Fisher then defaulted.
The Roadrunners 2-2 took the remaining singles matches in straight sets.
Bard (0-4) is not scheduled to play again until next month.
