Ryan Lee Videgard era went well.
Bard's first full-time tennis coach watched the women's tennis team sweep Hartwick, 9-0, in the 2018-19 opener on Friday.
Katie Esposito and
Katri Shields teamed up for the first time at No. 1 doubles, and they cruised, 8-3.
Harper Zacharias and
Jamie-Rose Graham swept their opponents at No. 2 doubles, as did
Eva Miller and
Eva Grunblatt at No. 3 doubles.
The Raptors did not lose a set in the six singles matches. Esposito yielded just one game at No. 1, and Graham didn't give up any at No. 4.
Bard will next play at Sunday afternoon at SUNY Delhi.
