SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to Skidmore College, 20-4, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds improved to 6-4 overall, 2-2 in the Liberty League. Bard fell to 2-4, 0-3.

Skidmore led, 4-0, midway through the first half, but the hosts scored seven goals in the last 12 minutes to take an 11-0 lead into halftime. Skidmore outscored Bard 9-4 in the second half.

The Thoroughbreds got goals from 15 different players, and senior Marisa Caponi (Wayne, NJ) led the winners with three goals.

Dylan McDonald scored twice for the Raptors, while Casey Witte and Melissa Rosenthal each scored once. Caleigh DeCaprio had two assists, and Kaylynn Tran made 11 saves.
