ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's swimming team opened the 2018-19 season with a meet against Liberty League foe Vassar on Friday night.

Abigail Townend opened her season with a victory in the 1000-free, and later she placed second in the 100-back.

Freshman Sarah Kern won the 200-free in her first collegiate meet.
