NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's swimming team lost to College of New Rochelle and Cedar Crest in a non-league tri-meet on Monday night.

New Rochelle defeated Bard, 80-67, and Cedar Crest topped Bard, 111-55. Cedar Crest also defeated New Rochelle, 129-44.

Bard sophomore Abigail Townend was a double-winner, taking the 1000-free and the 100-back. Kate Brashear won the 100-fly and was second in the 50-free; Carla Sanchez placed second in both the 100-IM and 100-breast, setting a new school record in the 100-IM.

Up next for the Raptors is a dual meet at Vassar on Saturday afternoon.
