ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's swimming and diving team lost to William Paterson University, 96-49, Saturday afternoon in a non-league meet.

Senior Carla Sanchez was a torpedo during the 100-IM for the Raptors, as she set a new school record with a time of 1:12.49. The previous mark was 1:13.96, which was held by Haley Goss-Holmes back in 2016. 

Captain Abigail Townend placed second in 100-back, while Kate Brashear also earned a second place finish in the 50-free for the Raptors.

Up next for Bard is a tri-meet with the College of New Rochelle and Ceder Crest College on January 29th at 7 p.m in New Rochelle.
