NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Mount St. Mary College men's soccer team scored a pair of goals less than two minutes apart and went on to defeat Bard College, 4-0, in a non-conference game on Wednesday night.
The Knights (2-1) got goals from Joey Dolan (New Paltz, NY) and Bereket Watts (Southold, NY) just 1:44 apart beginning in the 24th minute; Matt Fuge (Avon, CT) scored in the 40th minute, and Joseph Sadofski (Mamaroneck, NY) added another in the second half as Mount St. Mary improved to 2-1.
Bard (2-1) was outshot, 14-7, and didn't produce a shot on goal until the final five minutes, when
Isaac Yelchin got two shots off, one that was saved, and another that was cleared off the line by a defender.
Taylor Bond made four saves for the Raptors.
