CLINTON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team lost a pair of matches Saturday afternoon, falling to Connecticut College and Hamilton College, 9-0, in each contest.
The Raptors (10-9) entered the day needing a win to tie last season's mark of 11 wins, which was the most in the program's history.
Bard also began the afternoon ranked 40th overall in the most recent
Dunlop Men's College Squash Team Rankings, which is the highest the Raptors have ever been ranked in school history.Â
While the results of the day were not what the team was hoping for, it was another great effort and learning experience going up against two higher ranked opponents.
Connecticut entered the match ranked 32nd overall, while Hamilton was ranked 29th overall.Â
Bard will still have a chance to break the team's win record next weekend, as it will participate in the CSA National Team Championships, beginning on February 17th.Â
