PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Manhattanville College, 79-42, Monday night in a non-conference matchup.

The Valiants of Manhattanville scored 23 points in the first quarter and didn't look back the rest of the night.

Bard meanwhile, shook off a slow start by doubling its point total over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

The Raptors were led by sophomore Caleigh DeCaprio, who scored a career-high 21 points. Erin Kennedy chipped in 10 points, while Alexis Akingbade grabbed 10 rebounds in the effort. 

Sarah Coutu (Cranston, RI) was one of three points to finish in double-digits for the hosts. She tallied 16 points in the win.
