ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Hamilton College, 62-34, Friday evening in a non-league contest.
Hamilton jumped out to a big first quarter lead, before the Raptors responded by outscoring the guests, 12-8, in the second frame.
At halftime, the Continentals led 29-15.
Bard cut the deficit to just 12 points early in the third quarter following a pair of
Caleigh DeCaprio three-pointers, but that was as close as the hosts would get the rest of the way.
DeCaprio led the hosts with 15 points, on 5-11 shooting from three-point range. She also snagged four steals.
Elena LeFevre scored eight points, while
Katie Esposito scored seven points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.Â
Carly O'Hern (Jamesville, NY) finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals in the win for Hamilton.Â
Up next for the Raptors is one final game in 2017, as they host Purchase College. That game is currently scheduled for tomorrow (12/09) at 3 p.m., but may be moved due to weather. Stay tuned toÂ
