Raptors fall to defending league champ RIT

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Rochester Institute of Technology, 84-32, in the Liberty League opener for both teams on Friday night.

Defending league champion RIT scored 27 points in the first quarter and never looked back. The Tigers (4-0 overall) got 14 points apiece from Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY) and Tara Lynch (Green Township, NJ). Glaz added five assists and Lynch collected five rebounds.

Bard (0-5) was led by Alexis Akingbade, who had 14 points and four rebounds. Katie Esposito and Sarah Morris contributed four points apiece.
