CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept by St. Lawrence University, 3-0, in a Liberty League match on Saturday afternoon. It was the final conference match of the season for the Raptors, who fell to 5-22 overall, 0-7 in the Liberty League.

Set scores for the Saints (17-10, 4-3) were 25-15, 25-19 and 25-18.

Bard got down 10-5 in the first set and was never able to close the gap. The Saints had 13 kills and hit .205.

In the second set, the Raptors rallied from a big early deficit to close the gap to 19-17, but the Saints pulled it out.

Bard was up 12-10 in the third set before St. Lawrence rattled off eight straight points and closed out the match, 25-18.

Julia Wagner (Niskayuna, NY) led St. Lawrence with nine kills (.467) and five blocks. Katie Kull (Victor, NY) had 28 assists and seven digs.

Bard got 10 kills and six digs from Philippine Alba. Jewel Smith had 13 assists, and Emily Anastasi had 14 digs.
