ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team opened the 2016-17 season with a 8-1 loss to Union College in a Liberty League match on Saturday morning.

Union swept the three doubles matches, though they were competetive, and the Dutchmen also won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Bard's lone winner on the day was Satchel Fisher, who defeated Zach Kaplan (New York, NY) 6-2, 3-6 and 10-8 in a super tiebreaker at No. 2 singles.

Bard is right back on the court on Sunday morning, as Skidmore pays a visit. Start time 10 a.m.
