Women's basketball team defeated by Hamilton

CLINTON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Hamilton College, 62-27, in a non-league game on Saturday afternoon.

The Continentals led 21-4 after one quarter and 41-9 at halftime en route to their third victory of the year (3-3).

Marie Steiner (Pully, Switzerland) and Halie Serbent (Killingworth, CT) led Hamilton with 11 points apiece. Hamilton outrebounded Bard 49-31 and benefitted from 26 Bard turnovers.

Bard (0-5) got 11 points, five rebounds and three blocks from Annie Kissel.
