ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Skidmore College, 83-33, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.
The Raptors (5-10, 0-6 Liberty League) were playing without senior guard
Bianka Bell, who is injured. Skidmore capitalized by pressing and trapping early, building a 21-10 lead after one quarter, and that grew to 46-14 at halftime.
All 14 players scored for Skidmore (8-6, 3-3), led by sophomore Kelly Donnelly (Wynantskill, NY), who had 18 points in 16 minutes. She scored 16 points in a span of 6:07 in the first quarter.
Bard got eight points and seven rebounds from
Tytravia Riley.
Alexis Akingbade added six points and eight rebounds, and
Annie Kissel chipped in with six points and a blocked shot.
