POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's lacrosse team lost to Vassar College, 12-3, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

Bard fell to 2-10 overall, 0-7 in the Liberty League. Vassar is 7-5, 4-3.

The Brewers jumped out to a 7-1 halftime lead, outshooting Bard 12-5 in the first 30 minutes, going 9-for-9 on clears, and collecting 14 ground balls to Bard's eight.

The Raptors scored two of the first four goals of the second half to cut it to 9-3, but Vassar scored the last three goals of the game. Olivia O'Loughlin (Morristown, NJ) led the winners with three goals.

Bard got two goals from Joanna Regan and one from Gemma Godfrey, who also led the team with three ground balls. Kaylynn Tran made six saves.

The Raptors have three games remaining in the 2015 season, all in the next week, and all at home. They'll host SUNY Canton on Wedneday at 4, Clarkson on Friday at 4 and St. Lawrence on Saturday at 2.
