ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team swept both Lafayette College and Siena College, 9-0, during a round robin, hosted by Bard on Saturday afternoon.

Against Lafayette, the Raptors lost just one game in the match as Charlie Mullaney won the third game, 11-3, over Ayateru Maeda playing at #2. Maeda, however, took control in easy fashion in the three other games.

Rhys Nordstrom (#1) had some tough rallies against Andrew Winn, but pulled away for the sweep. Jack Smith (#3) swept Tamerlane Asher in a close match, while Julian Dime (#4) defeated Clement Hathaway in three straight games.

Abe Etkin (#5), Asad Hashmi (#6), Pranjal Ghate (#7), and Vikramaditya Joshi (#8) all won in straight games for the Raptors.

Against Siena, the Raptors played a strong match to earn a victory. Nordstrom had a tough opponent in Faizan Rahim (playing at #1), but prevailed to earn the sweep. Maeda (#2) won the first two games with ease, before pulling out a hard fought third game against Michael O'Connell.

Smith defeated Jack McQuade in a sweep playing at #3, while Dime (#4) also won. Etkin (#5), Hashmi (#6), Ghate (#7), and Joshi (#8) all earned sweeps of their own.

The Raptors play tomorrow morning against Penn State at 8 a.m. and Swarthmore at noon.
