ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -
Emily Hoelzli won three events to lead the Bard College women's swimming and diving team to an 89-74 victory over Brooklyn College on Saturday afternoon.
On the men's side, history was made as Bard competed in the one-meter dive for the first time. Brooklyn prevailed, 128-69, in the team score.
Hoelzli won the 200-free, the 100-fly and the 500-free.
Krysta Jurkovic won the 50-free,
Augusta Klein won the one-meter diving and
Elizabeth Langstaff won the 100-free for the Bard women. Klein's score of 191.4 was a new Bard record.
On the men's side,
Bradford Johnson won the 200-free and 500-free, and
Eliot Meyer won the 400-IM and the 100-back. His time in the 400-IM (5:29.83) was a new Bard record.
Duncan Routh,
Dan Brereton and
Emmett Dienstag competed in the one-meter diving for Bard, and Routh is now the holder of Bard's record in the event with a 116.40.
Up next for the Raptors is a meet at William Paterson University on Saturday.
