Raptors drop home opener to Manhattanville

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost its home opener to Manhattanville College, 3-0, on Wednesday night.

Set scores for the visitors were 25-12, 25-21 and 25-15.

Manhattanville (5-2) was paced by sophomore Alissa Primavera, who had 11 kills (.368) and six digs. Sophomore Megan Quinabo (Pearl City, HI) had 26 assists, and libero Alyssa Casino (Rye Brook, NY) had a team-high 11 digs.

Bard (1-6) got six kills and six digs from freshman Philippine Alba, six assists and six digs from Amy Kassowitz, nine assists from Lexi Cooper, and a team-high eight digs from Daniella Azulai.

The Raptors next head to the Oswego Tournament. They'll play Hamilton and Alfred on Friday, then Potsdam and Wells on Saturday.
