SAUGERTIES, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team lost to Mount Saint Mary College, 8-1, in a non-league match on Tuesday night.

The Raptors (4-7) battled in the doubles, losing 8-6, 8-6 and 8-4 in the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 slots, respectively. The Knights (12-3) won five singles matches in straight sets, but Philip Poznasky prevailed at No. 3. Poznasky won the first set, 6-3, before Mike Balakoz (Milford, CT) retired with an injury.

Up next for Bard is a Liberty League match against Skidmore at home on Saturday at 1.
