BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Freshmen Derek Low and Eliot Meyer each won individual events as the Bard College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at Sarah Lawrence with Purchase in a tri-meet.

The Bard men lost to Purchase (103-56) and Sarah Lawrence (86-52). The Bard women also lost to Purchase (144-22) and Sarah Lawrence (161-19).

Meyer, Low, Kevin Barbosa and Jordan Randles combined to win the 200-medley relay for Bard. Low won the 50-free and took third in the 100-breast. Meyer won the 50-back and placed third in the 100-free, and Barbosa was second in the 100-fly.

For the Bard women, Emily Hoelzli placed third in both the 200-free and 100-fly.

The Raptors are off until a home meet against Brooklyn College on Jan. 17.
