Raptors sweep York, Mount St. Vincent

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - For the second consecutive year, the Bard College men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept York and Mount St. Vincent in a tri-meet on Friday night.

The Bard men defeated York, 104-69, and Mount St. Vincent, 112-71. Mount St. Vincent edged York, 87-70.

The Bard women topped York, 110-72, and Mount St. Vincent, 99-67. Mount St. Vincent edged York, 77-72.

The Bard men won the two relays. Eliot Meyer, Theo Black, Derek Low and Jordan Randles won the 200-medley relay, while Bradford Johnson, Muhsin King, Joshua Velette and Derek Low won the 200-free relay. Low also won the 500-free in his first try at that event this season.

For the Bard women, Lilly Brennessel won the 200-free, Emily Hoelzli won the 500-free, Hannah Conley won the 100-breast, and Augusta Klein won the diving competition. Taysha Mohler, Jade Boccia, Brennessel and Conley worked together to win the 200-free relay.

Both teams will next compete at the SUNY Delhi Invitational next weekend.
