ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Bard College freshman
Derek Low has competed twice so far in his first collegiate season, and he has twice set a new Bard record in the pool.
After setting a new best in the 100-breast in a meet against Bethany and Cobleskill on Saturday, Low cut more than two seconds off that time in Wednesday night's meet against Vassar.
On the men's side, Vassar topped Bard, 104-71; on the women's side, Vassar won, 125-47. The powerful squad from Poughkeepsie swam exhibition in several events, which allowed Bard to score more.
