Volleyball team swept on first day of Roadrunner Invitational

The Bard College women's volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Friday night at the Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by Ramapo College.
Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MAHWAH, N.J. - The Bard College women's volleyball team suffered a pair of 3-0 losses on Friday night at the Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by Ramapo College.

Bard lost to Mount Aloysius College by set scores of 25-7, 25-17 and 25-20. For Bard, Tytravia Riley had seven kills and three digs; Lexi Cooper had 16 assists and five digs, and Daniella Azulai chipped in with three kills and eight digs. Mount Aloysius hit .351 for the match to improve to 3-6 overall.

Later, Bard lost to Manhattanville College, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-12. In that match, Riley had six kills and three digs, Cooper had 14 assists, and Azulai led the team with 17 digs.

Bard will play two more matches at Ramapo on Saturday. The Raptors will play St. Joseph's-LI at 10 a.m., then Centenary College at noon.
