Men's volleyball sweeps Lehman and Mount St. Vincent

Freshman Kai Bernier-Chen hit .412 against Mount St. Vincent and Bard swept a pair of matches on Saturday.
Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team had it's best-hitting day of the season, and the result was a pair of 3-0 sweeps in a non-conference tri-match with Lehman College and Mount St. Vincent on Saturday.

In the opening match of the day, Bard swept Lehman, but it was close. Set scores were 26-24, 27-25 and 25-18. Billy Williams led Bard with 10 kills (.318) and 14 digs; Henry Kasiske had 13 assists. Freshmen Zack Nussdorf and Jesse Small added nine and eight digs, respectively.

Later, Bard defeated Mount St. Vincent 25-18, 25-16 and 25-19. Williams and Kai Bernier-Chen had nine kills apiece, and Kasiske had 28 assists and nine digs.

Between those two matches, Lehman swept Mount St. Vincent.

Lehman finished the day at 11-11; Mount St. Vincent is 4-15, and Bard is 7-16.

Up next for the Raptors is their final United Volleyball Conference match of the season against SUNYIT on Wednesday night at 7.
